If you have experienced childhood trauma and find it difficult to speak to someone openly about what happened to you when you were a child , then start with reciting trauma prayers. Sometimes, trauma can affect the way you are able to communicate effectively your pain and suffering.
If you do not deal with a trauma wound, then it can get infected ( cause you spiritual harm) or can manifest from childhood trauma into adulthood.
In the past 3-4 years of my healing journey, I have found that trauma prayers were the keys to unlock my recovery. It is important to seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit as He will help you to see the hidden mysteries of unhealed wounds.
Here are some trauma prayers to help you start!
Trauma prayers: Prayers to heal from abandonment and rejection
Prayer to heal from abandonment
Dear God, I come to you with fears about being left alone. I know your word says that you will never leave me nor will you forsake me. I welcome your presence into my life Father God. I accept that you fill all of my needs and more. You are with me in every difficult situation. Give me the strength to understand that when others leave my life that it may be for a reason, a season, or a lifetime but I can always count on you to be with me.
Thank you Jesus. Amen!
Deliverance prayer from an orphan spirit
Dear Heavenly Father, give me peace about being your child. I want to feel safe in your arms today. I look to you knowing that you are a good father that will always take care of me. You are my Daddy that I can count on to give me hope and assurance that I am good in your eyes. You see me as pure and lovely. I can truly say “Abba” and I believe the Holy Spirit is like an engagement ring promising me that I am yours for all eternity.
In Jesus name, Amen.
Prayer to heal from rejection in the womb
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you that you formed me in my mother’s womb. You knew all about me before I was born. You see me as lovely and beautiful. You made me in your image; the image of love. You have given me the capacity to love and to receive love.
I forgive my mother for rejecting me when I was in her womb. I also forgive her for any mother wounds passed down from her mother. I pray that you would redeem my life so that it will be a reflection of the way you always designed me to be in you. I break every word curse made against me by my mother. I proclaim that I am your daughter and I live according to your will for my life. I love you Papa. I thank you! In Jesus name, Amen.

Trauma Prayers: Prayers to heal from emotional and sexual trauma
Prayer to heal from emotional trauma
Dear Papa, I have gone through so much emotionally over the years. The words of my mother and father have been like flaming arrows burning a hole through my heart. I feel the pain of their words and I need you to heal me. I need you to heal me from the memories of the things that was said to me to manipulate me into submission. I forgive my mother for the manipulative tactics that she used (silent treatments, triangulation, or bullying me to do her bidding). And, I forgive my father for not protecting me from emotional attacks. I do not owe my mother anything. I break any unhealthy soul-ties that are tied to her and I release the emotional trauma bond. I speak life into my whole being and I say that my heart will beat again fresh new life. I am no longer dead in brokenness. I am now alive in Jesus Christ, who took on shame and emotional trauma on my behalf. I am set free indeed! In Jesus name, Amen.

Prayer to heal from sexual trauma
My Dear Papa, I have been sexually abused, misused, and taken advantage by those that I thought I could trust and from people that I was not expecting to hurt me. I feel dirty and polluted from my experiences. I need you to give me the grace to forgive my abusers. I need you Lord to renew my mind and to remove any dark memories ( smells, words, and touches) of the mistreatment that I went through. I experienced so much pain and feel injustice for what I encountered as a young child. As your word says, you make all things brand new. Make me brand new in how I see myself. Do a supernatural and deep healing in the areas of my heart that needs repairing. Redeem my heart and all of my sexual organs. Flood me with your presence of love. Consume me with your heart so that I will feel your heart beating new life in me. I am yours Lord! I trust you to renew me. I am made whole in your presence.
In Jesus name, Amen
Prayers to heal from mommy trauma
Prayer to heal from mother wounds
Dear Papa,
I acknowledge that I have mother wounds and I need you to heal me. I detach from the trauma of not being loved, nurtured, and cared for by my mother. I realize that she did not have the capacity to mother me the way you intended. She does not owe me anything. I let go of any fears of losing her. I do not depend on her for my emotional needs. Holy Spirit take on the role of being my nurturer and mother. Sing songs of deliverance over me so that I can be free the pain of my mother’s wounds.
I join my heart with you God and declare that you will care and comfort me. I am nurtured by your love and goodness towards me. I will care for my children with your guidance. I am truly loved by you God. Thank you for your loving presence.
In Jesus name, Amen.
Prayer to heal from narcissistic mother
Dear Papa,
I have gone through so much pain from how much my mother treated me. She said many things to control my life. Help me Lord to forgive her for projecting fear into my life. I release her back to you Lord, knowing that you will take care of her. I do not have to depend on her to survive. You have given me the greatest gift which is your son Jesus to take care of me and to give me life for all eternity. I adore your words of love and affirmation. You call me beloved and your daughter. Give me the grace to know that my identity is secure in who you are. I am grateful for the journey of healing that I will take with you. I will take one step at a time, one foot in front of the other, back to you Jesus. I am yours forever!
I love you Jesus, Amen.
