Queen Esther in the bible, became an orphan when her parents died. But Esther being raised by her uncle Mordecai to one day become a queen reminded me of how quickly you can go from loss to being appointed to use your authority in a higher realm.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 1- Esther Fast Devotional <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s time to go higher! God your Beloved King, is purifying You <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During my quiet time with the Lord, I remember Him calling me to go to a higher place in Him.<\/strong> At the time, several people left my life and I did not understand why. I thought to myself, how could they abandon me? What did I do wrong? I felt confused and hurt, that those that I loved and poured into would leave me deserted. I learned that I was going through a difficult transition of loss and stepping into new and higher things in God. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esther 2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

God showed me how Esther was called to a higher place in the Kingdom. <\/strong>In the king\u2019s care she was given special treatment and was favored by Hegai. She was reserved to be treated with the utmost care because her character was admirable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esther was also given a special menu of beauty treatments, seven maids chosen for her<\/strong> from the palace, and moved her into the best place in the harem ( Esther 2:9).<\/strong> I love this verse because it shows how Esther was already chosen to be treated like a Queen before meeting the king. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u200bEphesians 1:4<\/strong>\u200b<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even before he made the world, <\/em>God loved us and chose us<\/em> in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. <\/em>Similar to Esther, God loved us and chose us to be holy ( without blame for any trespasses, pure, and without blemish). In His eyes, He chose His bride because He saw that she was favorable, honorable, and without any fault in Him.<\/strong> In Him, she was made to be perfect (with His beauty treatments of oil and myrrh). God\u2019s love perfected her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Purification Process<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esther was given oil and myrrh, special perfumes and ointments to prepare herself before the king. When God is calling you to a higher place, He will purify you<\/strong> to the point that you are pressing oil because the first press releases the purest oil. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So Daughter, Press in!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In His presence and as you sacrifice and surrender yourself to have him live in you, you will release special perfumes that are pleasing to the Lord.<\/strong> For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing (2 Corinthians 2:15).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
