The other night, I had a dream of a woman that said to me, that she was a kingdom overcomer. I said to the woman, “oh like Priscilla Shirer?” [ from the movie “Overcomer”] but she did not answer the question. When I woke up from the dream, I knew that she was actually talking about me being a kingdom overcomer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During a tough season of learning to trust in the Lord, God was encouraging me that I would be victorious over every obstacle that came my way. As a result, my faith, hope, and capacity to receive and give love would only increase. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/span>Be an over-comer by keeping your eyes on Jesus<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To become a kingdom over-comer, it is important to fix your eyes on Jesus. The cares of this world can be a distraction to your walk with God.<\/strong> When you are able to let go of this life <\/strong>(the cares of this world) then you will gain more of Jesus in your life. Similarly to Peter when he was called to walk towards Jesus during a storm, when he kept his eyes on Jesus, he did not sink into the ocean. He defied gravity. But once he put his eyes on the environmental elements (wind, rain, thunder), he immediately became fearful and started to sink into the water. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, \u201cTake heart; it is I. Do not be afraid.\u201d And Peter answered him, \u201cLord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water.\u201d He said, \u201cCome.\u201d So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came to Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, \u201cLord, save me.\u201d<\/strong> Jesus immediately reached out his hand and took hold of him, saying to him, \u201cO you of little faith, why did you doubt?\u201d<\/p>\nMatthew 14:27-31<\/a><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

How often do we take our eyes off God to focus on the storms of life? As a mother, you might have stormy issues such as your child being sick, financial hang ups, difficulty with a a child that talks back to you, and job loss. Here is the solution, put your focus back on God. But you might say, as you are walking towards God on the water, But, I have all of these problems and you begin sinking in despair. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But God will say,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“O you of little faith, why do you doubt me?” Can I not provide for you? “Can I not heal your sick child? “Can I not restore your relationship with your child as your father? <\/em>“<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes we do doubt God’s abilities, but to live victoriously we need to understand our doubts do not define us. It is how you rise out of the water after sinking that defines you. When God saves you, you respond with His word:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes Lord your word says you are my provider in Philippians 4:19<\/strong> (KJV)  \u201cBut my God shall <\/em>supply all your needs <\/em><\/strong>according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes Lord, your word says you are a healer of all things ( relationships and the physical body). In your word, you say Jeremiah 33:6<\/strong> – Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them and reveal to them abundance of prosperity and security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
